Stressed Out
One of the key elements of my work is to explore unconscious limiting beliefs. Limiting, because they literally affect behaviour, and what we are able to create. Not surprisingly perhaps, even those of us who seem the most together and sorted have some very deep-seated beliefs from childhood that at core we are really failures, useless, lazy, and so on…
My experience confirms that we all have something similar to unearth.
If we leave these beliefs unnoticed and unchecked we then lead ourselves a merry dance of proving to ourselves and others that we aren’t really what we fear we might be deep down. It’s crazy really. And could be funny, if it weren’t so tragic.
This is a HUGE issue, because acting on the basis of these beliefs produces untold stress, anxiety and depression. It was recently reported by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence that 13 million working days a year are lost due to these symptoms in the UK alone.
