Who has influenced your work? 2015-06-24T12:56:33+00:00

Many people are, and have been, teachers to me. You will find them referenced and acknowledged throughout the audio and written materials on the website.  Here I name just one: Brad Brown, whose teachings have been central to my own ability to live consciously.

How much does a coaching session cost? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

Between £50 and £95, depending on the financial circumstances of the individual client. Please give at least 48 hours notice if you cancel a scheduled coaching session: any less notice will require payment for the session.

How long are your coaching sessions? 2014-12-20T18:31:40+00:00

Each session lasts for 45 minutes.

Does my location affect me being able to work with you? 2014-12-20T18:30:26+00:00

No, it shouldn’t.  I do my coaching online as well as some of my group work (see the Online Masterclasses available on the Schedule page). If you have an internet connection we can speak using Skype or GoToMeeting.  In addition, the courses I run are not based in one geographical location, so you may be able to get to one of these; take a look at what’s on offer and where by visiting the Schedule page.

How do I book onto a course? 2014-12-20T18:08:28+00:00

Go to the Schedule page and you will see the available courses over the next six months listed on the right-hand side.  Choose the one you would like to register on, and you will be taken to a payment page on PayPal.  If there is no functionality to do that it will mean that we need to have a conversation before you make your booking.  In this case please send me an email or fill in the form on the Contact page, and I will get straight back to you.

Is your work confidential? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

Yes absolutely.  This is key for my clients in their ability to trust me.  In addition, in all the courses I run there is an agreement from each participant that what they hear from others on the course is confidential, i,e, that what is said cannot be attributed to that person.

What if I open up things I can’t handle by doing one of your courses? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

Firstly we will establish whether the course if a fit for you.  If you are in therapy, for example, you will want to ask your therapist for advice before signing up.  The courses I provide aren’t for everyone, and I take that responsibility very seriously.  Having said that, many people do discover aspects about themselves that they weren’t previously aware of and this, far from being difficult to handle, is often reported as ‘relieving’ and ‘liberating’.

How do I know if how you work is effective? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

Please listen to what past clients think of my work by going to the Testimonials page.  You can also listen to a Drop-in Broadcast on the Broadcasts page where you will be able to hear me working with someone. If you want to explore more having heard these, you can have a no-obligation call with me to sound me out yourself.

How do I see your availability? 2015-09-17T13:02:18+00:00

Simply go to the Schedule page and take a look at the daily calendar along the top.  Here you will be able to see the days where I have some availability.

Is what you do therapy? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

No, I am not a trained psychologist.  It is often reported to me by my clients however that the effect of the work I do is ‘therapeutic’, i.e. healing and beneficial.

Can I have just a one-off session with you? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

I work with people over a substantial period of time, typically ranging from 3 months to one year.  For this reason I do not offer one-off sessions, unless it is with an ex-client who has a specific need.  I do however offer anyone considering having me as their mentor the opportunity to have an exploratory session with me with no obligation to have further sessions.

Will you provide invoices for your services? 2014-12-20T17:28:46+00:00

Yes.

Can I pay for a course in local currency? 2014-12-20T17:29:33+00:00

Yes, you can pay in the currency of the location of the course. So for example, in euros in Italy and in rand in South Africa.

How do I pay in sterling if that’s not my currency? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

It is now straightforward to pay in your own currency to the sterling equivalent using PayPal, and you do not need to have a PayPal account yourself in order to do this.  I have clients worldwide and they are able to pay me quickly and simply.

What if I can’t afford your services? 2014-12-20T17:31:43+00:00

I don’t want financial resources to be a barrier to you being able to learn how to live your life fully at your best, and for this reason I have a range of fees for my one-on-one work: £40 to £85 per 45 minute session.  You choose what you can afford to pay.  I realise however that even the bottom end of my scale is still not affordable to some.  If this should be the case I am willing to have an exploratory session with you at no charge.

What’s the difference between coaching and mentoring? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

You will see that I use both terms on the website, and sometimes interchangeably.  Yes I am a coach, and the way I coach is to work with people on a regular basis (either every week or every other week) so that I can be alongside them as they work through whatever it is that they want to focus upon.   For this reason I am not a ‘life coach’ or an ‘executive coach’, although I work with people who are working with dilemmas they have in their personal and/or professional lives.  Instead I ‘mentor’ my clients through thick and thin.  Clients often keep in touch with me between sessions to let me know how they are doing and, for example, how they are actioning the choices they made in their last session.

How do you teach? 2017-05-20T19:29:09+00:00

I teach inductively, which means that you learn by being at the centre of the process.  There is not much (if any!) ‘chalk and talk’ on my part.  Instead you will be asked to reflect on your own experience in order to come to your own understandings.  Indeed the courses and workshops I teach, whether they be in person or online, are experiential: i.e. you will learn by doing.

What types of course do you offer? 2016-01-24T14:19:42+00:00

The courses I offer focus on three major themes: our relationship with ourselves; our relationships with others; and our relationship with that which sources us. Indeed those three aspeats of life are always present. In this way key issues, including how to live authentically; recognising who we are at core; and ways of being truly connected, purposeful and creative are explored and experienced in fresh ways. As a result you will gain insight and practical next steps in your day to day life.  Please see the Schedule page for courses I am offering over the next 6 months.

How do I pay? 2014-12-22T22:19:23+00:00

There is a facility to pay for courses via PayPal on the Schedule page.  You do not need a PayPal account yourself as you can pay with any of the major credit and debit cards. Alternatively you can pay by transfer to my bank account:
